Eine Studie von Sportmedizin-Experten aus Tübingen und Pforzheim hat gezeigt, dass Galileo Vibrationstraining ähnlich wirksam wie Krafttraining ist. Untersucht wurden Patienten, die an Kniearthrose leiden und über einen Beobachtungszeitraum von zwei Monaten in drei Gruppen unterteilt wurden. Eine Gruppe trainierte zweimal pro Woche 16 Minuten lang auf Galileo, die zweite Gruppe absolvierte zweimal pro Woche für 45 Minuten ein Krafttraining. Bei beiden trainierenden Gruppen kam es neben einer Kraftzunahme auch zu einem Rückgang krankheitsbedingter Schmerzen.
