Novotec Medical GmbH, founded in 2001 and based in Pforzheim in southern Germany, is a TÜV-certified manufacturer of Galileo® training equipment, Galileo® therapy equipment and Leonardo Mechanography® movement and performance analysis systems. To guarantee highest quality, all devices of the medical device manufacturer are developed and produced within Germany.
The basis for the development of the different Galileo series comes from the research results of the company's sister Stratec Medizintechnik GmbH, which emerged from Stratec Elektronik GmbH, founded in 1979. It develops, produces and distributes peripheral quantitative computed tomography systems (Stratec pQCT) for muscle and bone analysis and xelerate®.you training systems for cognitive training worldwide. Close cooperation with international research institutions has existed for over 35 years. The knowledge gained from this is continuously incorporated into product development.
pQCT Bone Density & Geometry, Leonardo Mechanographie® & Galileo® Therapy
The portfolio of imaging procedures, movement analysis and Galileo therapy comes together to form a holistic concept around the subject area of neurology, muscle and bone and ranges from diagnosis to therapy.
In addition to the company's high scientific standards, the focus is on constantly expanding the list of indications for side-alternating vibration therapy with Galileo. The manufacturer emphazises the differentiation between the Galileo side-alternating technology and products based on other functional and design principles.
Galileo® Training & xelerate®
Another focus of the companies Novotec Medical GmbH and Stratec Medizintechnik GmbH is the development and distribution of high quality training systems like Galileo Training and xelerate cognitive fitness in the fields of athletics, fitness and wellness but also for the use at home.
Here, too, the manufacturer attaches great importance to research results and scientific principles. Novotec Medical is, for example, a regular project partner of the ESA (European Space Agency), e.g. for the evaluation of effective training measures to prevent muscle and bone loss during space missions, and cooperates worldwide with other renowned research institutions such as the Charité Berlin, the University Hospital Cologne and universities (e.g. ETH Zurich).
